Ashley Gonzalez Joins ISC as VP of Entertainment

Gonzalez supercharges ISC’s Abacus brand with her underwriting and sales distribution experience

CARLSBAD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CARLSBAD, California-based Integrated Specialty Coverages (“ISC”), a leading, multi-line program administrator that builds end-to-end insurance products utilizing advanced artificial intelligence (AI) engineering, data analytics, and predictive modeling, is pleased to announce that Ashley Gonzalez has joined our company as Vice President of Entertainment. In her role, Ashley will be instrumental in expanding our Abacus distribution, enhancing penetration with existing brokers, securing new program opportunities, and seeking opportunities outside of our programs that complement our core operation. ISC acquired Abacus, a managing general agency in entertainment and event insurance, in 2021.

Ashley brings a unique blend of underwriting expertise, business development acumen, and a deep understanding of the entertainment market to ISC. She started with Allstate, supporting regional management and developing brand-new agencies in local territories, and later developed an interest in the underwriting side of the business, joining Philadelphia Insurance Company. Her career trajectory continued with Chubb, where she expanded her underwriting scope to include Multinational products, Excess and Umbrella, and High Net Worth personal lines, and later with CNA on their Allied Health and Medical Malpractice programs.

A move to Los Angeles in 2017 landed Ashley a position with Hiscox, where she eventually seized an opportunity to get involved with its entertainment and media team. She led the team in achieving exceptional growth during the pandemic while supporting various aspects of the entertainment business unit, including service delivery, accounting, and building a small underwriting division. Recognized for her stellar achievements, Ashley was promoted to Business Development Leader at Hiscox, overseeing the national sales initiatives for all lines of business, both digitally and traditional retail traded.
