The Women in Manufacturing Association Announces 14th Annual SUMMIT in Boston

Conference to Bring Industry Professionals Together October 6-9, 2024

CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Women in Manufacturing® Association’s (WiM) 14th annual SUMMIT will take place in Boston, MA, October 6-9 at the Hynes Convention Center. The WiM SUMMIT will welcome in-person and virtual participation from an estimated 2,000 manufacturing professionals from around the world. Attendees will enjoy three days of impactful keynote presentations, breakout sessions, plant tours and social events designed to expand their networks and strengthen the community of women in manufacturing at all levels.

“This year’s WiM SUMMIT theme ‘Champion for Success’ celebrates unity, empowerment and inspiration by bringing together women and allies in the manufacturing industry,” says WiM President and Founder Allison Grealis. “Hosted in Boston, a city known for its championship sports teams, we aim to draw parallels between the resilience, teamwork and dedication of athletes and the incredible potential within our industry. WiM is the only national trade association dedicated to year-round support for women in the manufacturing sector. The WIM SUMMIT is the highlight of WiM programming calendar.

This year’s WiM SUMMIT will feature keynotes given by leaders representing AstraZeneca, PepsiCo and more. The conference also will deliver 65 educational sessions on topics that include innovation, allyship, operational excellence, caregiving, artificial intelligence, sustainability, leadership and strategic business trends.

In addition, the WiM SUMMIT will offer participants the opportunity to tour 20 innovative manufacturing facilities in the Boston area, including Amgen, Dell Technologies and New Balance, where attendees get to witness firsthand manufacturing innovation and inclusivity.

WiM also will host the 2024 Women in Manufacturing Hall of Fame Induction Reception during the SUMMIT to celebrate ten, trailblazing women who have made exceptional contributions to the industry and to the advancement of women during the course of their established careers.
