Dwight Capital Launches Dwight Green Finance, C-PACE Lending Platform

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dwight Capital has expanded its services unveiling Dwight Green Finance, a lending platform led by Lisa Nordel, aimed at financing a range of property improvements through C-PACE (Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy). This strategic initiative complements Dwight’s existing suite of financial solutions, including bridge loans, mezzanine, and HUD lending platforms, providing commercial property owners with additional capital options.

C-PACE empowers property owners to secure favorable, long-term funding for various enhancements such as energy efficient upgrades, renewable energy installations, water conservation projects, and more. These green improvements not only lower operational costs but also enhance property values. Notably, the C-PACE assessment is fully assumable, offering flexibility and attractiveness for property upgrades. Repayment is structured through a special tax assessment added to the property tax bill, providing a straightforward financing avenue, typically with lower rates compared to traditional mezzanine or preferred equity financing.

With over 150 dedicated professionals across origination, underwriting, capital markets, asset management, and servicing, Dwight Capital is well-positioned to support its clients nationwide. The addition of Lisa Nordel as Managing Director, Head of C-PACE, underscores Dwight’s commitment to expanding its expertise in sustainable housing solutions. Her extensive experience in C-PACE transactions bolsters the firm’s robust pipeline in this growing sector.

"I am thrilled to join the Dwight team and contribute to offering our clients access to a cost-effective, long-term financing solution to enhance their capital structure," said Lisa. "As the demand for clean energy and sustainable buildings grows, C-PACE financing has been increasingly embraced by property owners across diverse asset categories. Dwight Green Finance’s C-PACE platform seamlessly compliments Dwight's current suite of financing options, including construction, bridge, and HUD financing."

Lisa brings over 25 years of experience in real estate across multifamily, office, and retail. Before joining Dwight, she served as Vice President at Peachtree Group, where she led the loan execution process for debt funds and later transitioned to Senior Vice President in their C-PACE division. Her achievements include overseeing underwriting, closing over $850 million in C-PACE financings, and managing various financial facilities.

Lisa Nordel’s wealth of experience and leadership in C-PACE financing underscores Dwight’s commitment to driving innovation and sustainability in commercial real estate. This commitment marks a pivotal moment in further solidifying Dwight’s position as a leader in the industry, advancing its mission to deliver impactful financial solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of property owners nationwide.
