Pathward’s Shannon Stetson Named to SFNet’s 40 Under 40 List

Managing director of business development for Pathward’s Commercial Finance business line recognized for professional achievements in the secured finance industry

TROY, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pathward®, N.A., one of the nation’s leading financial empowerment companies driven by its purpose to power financial inclusion, today announced that Shannon Stetson, a managing director of business development for the Commercial Finance business line, has been named to the 2024 list of Secured Finance Network’s (SFNet’s) 40 Under 40.

This recognition highlights young industry professionals for their contributions to both the secured finance industry and their communities. The Secured Finance Network will celebrate those recognized at this year’s 40U40 Awards Gala on June 13 in New York City.

“Shannon embodies what it means to be a leader in the workplace and community. Her work ethic is second to none, and the results speak for themselves,” said Pathward’s Commercial Finance Divisional President Christopher Soupal. “With deep product and industry knowledge—particularly in the oil and gas space—Shannon is adept at solving for the working capital needs of her clients and prospects. The work that Shannon and her team do is crucial to our success, and we are appreciative of the Secured Finance Network for recognizing her contributions both at Pathward and beyond.”

Stetson joined Pathward in 2011 as a junior business development officer and over time has risen through the ranks. With more than 13 years of industry experience, Stetson’s expertise and leadership have helped her to establish herself as a leader at Pathward, in her local market and nationally. Stetson maintains a portfolio exceeding $80 million and regularly drives revenue for the organization through strong relationship building with new and existing clients.

In her local Texas community, Stetson engages in volunteer work with the Children's Fund and the Bradfield Elementary Auction Committee. She also serves as a volunteer youth soccer coach through her community YMCA and is a member of the Houston and Southwest Chapter of SFNet.

“Working in this industry brings new adventures every day, and it is always exciting to take on each new opportunity with the Pathward team,” said Stetson. “Earning this recognition is an honor, and I couldn’t have done it without my colleagues, mentors and friends in the community.”
