Three Standout Sikich Leaders Honored on Forbes’ Inaugural America’s Top 200 CPAs List

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sikich, a global technology-enabled professional services company, is honored to announce that three of its leaders have been named among America's Top 200 CPAs for 2024 by Forbes. This is the first time the highly regarded publication has produced this list, curated exclusively by Forbes’ editorial staff. These team members were chosen based on factors such as career achievement, influence on the profession, thought leadership, technology adoption and innovation.

Those selected include:

• Melinda DeCorte, CPA, CGFM, CFE, PMP, serves on the Sikich Executive Board and leads the company’s federal government industry vertical and federal audit practice. She serves in a quality assurance capacity for financial statement audits conducted in accordance with government auditing standards. Before her career in public accounting, Melinda served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army, Finance Corps.
• Richard Lynch, CPA, serves on the Sikich Executive Board and was recently named co-managing partner of the Sikich CPA practice and oversees the team’s operational structure and guides the strategic vision for the company’s accounting, audit, tax and consulting services. Prior to his current role, Richard was the partner-in-charge of the not-for-profit and higher education practice and Central Illinois market lead.
• Karen Sanchez, CPA, QPA, serves on the Sikich Executive Board and leads the Employee Benefit Plan audit and retirement plan compliance practices at Sikich. She provides retirement plan and welfare plan audit and consulting services to for-profit entities as well as not-for-profit and government entities.
