Strata Identity Named a Representative Vendor in the 2024 Gartner® Reduce IAM Technical Debt Report

Strata’s Maverics Identity Orchestration platform cited for modernizing legacy identity management systems to cloud-based Identity and Access Management (IAM) suites

BOULDER, Colo.--()--Strata Identity, the Identity Orchestration company, today announced it has been named a Representative Vendor by Gartner in the 2024 Reduce IAM Technical Debt1 report by Nat Krishnan and Erik Wahlstrom. As stated in the research: “Technical debt weakens the agility of an IAM team and the effectiveness of organizational security controls. Security and risk management technical professionals must tackle siloed tools, legacy integrations, incomplete discovery, poor IAM hygiene and difficult onboarding processes to resolve it (IAM Technical Debt).”

According to the Gartner, Inc. report: “Security and risk management technical professionals focusing on reducing IAM technical debt must:

  • Improve agility in the modernization of legacy IAM by incrementally migrating siloed IAM tools to a common IAM architecture.
  • Use identity fabric principles, as described in this document, for assessing their IAM deployments and weaving the required tools together to address their business and security requirements.”

  • Does it provide adaptive and continuous risk signals to other tools?
  • Does it provide observability so that the events can be monitored easily?
  • Does the tool protect end-user data and privacy?
  • Does it meet with central governance processes?”
