Elite Transatlantic Legal Search Firm Welcomes Veteran Recruiters Tad Gruman and Julieta Stubrin

The duo bring to Macrae three decades of combined experience in legal recruiting.

Gruman, who joined Macrae from Whistler Partners, has nearly a decade of experience placing lawyers into the leading law firms in New York. While he enjoys working with partners and law firm clients across a wide range of practice areas, he holds a special interest in those comprising the rapidly evolving “tech convergence” landscape, including EC/VC, entertainment and financial services. Prior to discovering his passion for recruiting, Gruman held business roles within top international companies in the tech, financial and legal industries. He earned his B.A. from Kenyon College and his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law.

Stubrin has more than 20 years of experience matching lawyers with elite firms in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Like Gruman, she joined Macrae from Whistler Partners. Her prior roles include serving as a senior recruiting professional at several prestigious law firms including Fenwick & West, where she was Director of Attorney Recruiting and Diversity. Her experience working inside law firms gives her a deep understanding of strategic expansion within firms and, in particular, the vital role that skillful execution and integration play in making growth strategies a success. Stubrin holds a B.A. from Santa Clara University and an M.A. in Human Resources and Organizational Development from University of San Francisco.
