Leapsome Welcomes Luck Dookchitra as VP People

- Former Spotify HR leader with over 15 years of experience in the HR field joins global people enablement platform to lead People & Culture function.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Leapsome, the all-in-one intelligent people enablement platform, today announces the appointment of Luck Dookchitra as the company’s first global VP People, effective mid-October 2023. Based in Leapsome’s New York office, Luck also joins the Leapsome leadership team, reporting to co-founder and co-CEO Jenny Podewils.

Luck brings a blend of North American HR expertise and global SaaS experience. A Princeton University alum, Luck was VP of People at Teachable, VP People & Operations at Modern Meadow, and Global HR Business Partner and Head of HR, USA at Spotify. At Spotify, Luck was instrumental in creating the Global HRBP structure to support the company’s fast-paced international growth and laid the groundwork for the company’s US operations. At Teachable, she navigated change management through transitions to remote work and international integration while establishing impactful DEIB programs.

Demonstrating her dedication to professional development, she has acquired certifications in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University and is a Certified Professional Coach. Luck is a founding member and advisor for TroopHR, a fast-growing national network for HR professionals to learn, connect, and elevate their careers.

As VP People at Leapsome, Luck will enrich company culture and align it further with people enablement principles. She will oversee strategic initiatives that bolster employee development, foster a feedback-rich environment, and promote career growth across departments. Luck will also share her robust HR experience to further refine Leapsome’s products and will drive global talent strategies.
