Greg Barnes Joins Alliant Insurance Services as Executive Vice President, Managing Director

LA-based executive will focus on the private equity and mergers and acquisitions sectors

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Greg Barnes has joined Alliant Insurance Services as Executive Vice President, Managing Director, Alliant Specialty. Based in Los Angeles, Barnes is an expert in the private equity (PE) and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) sectors.

Barnes’ professional background in investment banking and M&A positions him to proactively guide Alliant clients in placing all lines of corporate insurance, including transactional-related coverages and executive risk. Barnes is focused on managing the insurance M&A lifecycle by conducting pre-closing insurance due diligence, post-acquisition insurance program implementation and transaction support for clients and their portfolio companies.

“Greg believes in a very high-touch, consistent and proactive approach to communication with his clients,” said Peter Arkley, President, Alliant Retail Property & Casualty. “As a proven professional leader, Greg has built a rigorous cadence around the due diligence process and optimization of costs and structures, which has been a true differentiator in enabling his success.”

“I am excited for the opportunity to work with Alliant in achieving the best results for Alliant clients by engaging our deep bench of organizational talent,” added Barnes.
