Mizzen+Main Continues National Retail Expansion

Mizzen+Main plans to have 10 retail locations across the United States by the end of 2023 with more to come in 2024

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mizzen+Main has been synonymous with the state of Texas since they created the world’s first performance fabric dress shirt over 10 years ago. However, their Texas footprint is only the beginning of their growing retail presence. The men’s lifestyle brand recently expanded to Scottsdale in Q4, while welcoming storefronts in Houston and San Antonio, totaling 10 stores by the end of 2023 and more coming in 2024.

“You can’t overemphasize the value of experiencing a brand in real life,” says Bethany Muths, CMO of Mizzen+Main. “Walking into any of our retail locations lets customers get to know Mizzen+Main for themselves, and we want that experience to be readily available for every man, everywhere.”

Pioneering a new store design in partnership with the Bergmeyer architecture firm, Mizzen+Main retail locations are more than just a store—they’re a physical manifestation of the brand itself.

“We’ve looked to create a space that embraces Mizzen+Main’s communal nature,” says Eric Kuhn, Design Practice Leader for Bergmeyer. “The store is about promoting discovery and encouraging engagement, achieved through a sequence of touchpoints that connects, inspires and encourages interaction.”

Mizzen+Main consistently utilizes brutalism in their photography as a background against which they display fun, comfortable, and easy-going characters.

“We want to help our customers feel unaffected by what is stereotypically imposing and oppressive architecture,” says Richard Ross, Creative Director for Mizzen+Main. “All of our retail locations provide a unique in-person experience that allows you to cross the threshold and become fully immersed in that feeling.”

Looking forward, Mizzen+Main will continue to invite customers to truly feel comfortable exactly where they are.
