Curt Wood Appointed Executive Director of 2023-2024 Cybersecurity Priorities Report

Veteran CIO and state executive to lead annual trend and challenge report

COLCHESTER, Vt.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Well-known IT executive and former CIO for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Curtis M. Wood has been announced as Executive Director for the 2023-2024 State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) Cybersecurity Priorities Report (CPR). As the only industry report dedicated to the unique needs and insights of the SLED market, the CPR is informed by interviews, analysis, and research into the initiatives and activities of leaders in the SLED marketplace. Wood served as Massachusetts’ CIO from 2018 to January 2023, capping a distinguished 40-year career with the Commonwealth. As a Cabinet Secretary, he oversaw the Executive Office of Technology Services and Security (EOTSS), which included the strategy and operations of both IT and cybersecurity for the Commonwealth’s executive branch and agencies.
