(“Amprius” or the “Company”) (NYSE: AMPX), a leader in next-generation lithium-ion batteries with its Silicon Anode Platform, is supplying battery cells to the just-announced “Astrum” solar car for the University of Michigan Solar Car Team. The 2023 solar car was unveiled at a ceremony on July 14th ahead of the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in October. Amprius CEO Dr. Kang Sun was in attendance and gave congratulatory remarks noting the monumental event for the university.
