Private Banking Adds to Wealth Management and Corporate Advisory & Banking Teams

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Private Banking arm of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. (BBH) is pleased to announce the expansion and strengthening of its Wealth Management and Corporate Advisory & Banking teams in Philadelphia with the recent hiring of Tom Hyland, Patrick Gleeton, and Luke Hirneisen. These hires reflect the firm’s deep commitment to Philadelphia and the mid-Atlantic region, its private business owners, and local endowments, foundations, and non-profit institutions.

Tom Hyland has joined the Relationship Management team. In this role, he serves as the trusted advisor to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their families for their investing, banking, and wealth planning needs. Prior to joining the BBH team, Tom was a Private Banker at Citi Private Bank.

Patrick Gleeton has joined the Relationship Management team as well. Like Tom, Patrick serves as the trusted advisor to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their families for their investing, banking, and wealth planning needs. Prior to joining BBH in Philadelphia, Pat was a Private Wealth Advisor for AB Bernstein in Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Washington DC.

Luke Hirneisen has joined the BBH Corporate Advisory & Lending practice where he is lead executive for not-for-profits, endowments and foundations. Luke comes to BBH from Citibank, where he was a senior banker in Mid-Corporate Banking responsible for supporting industrial sector clients in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern US. Prior to that, Luke was a banker with Wells Fargo’s Global Banking practice and has served as an International Trade Associate at the US International Trade Administration.

“Having professionals of the caliber of Tom and Patrick join our wealth management team is a testament to our commitment to serving the needs of high-net worth individuals, private business owners, and institutions in Philadelphia and across the mid-Atlantic region,” said Joe Chott, co-head for the Philadelphia office of Private Banking at BBH. “We believe that our unique approach to serving these segments of the business community is the reason we continue to grow.”

“We are thrilled to have Luke join our growing Philadelphia team and serve our not-for-profit clients across our offices.” said Matt Levering, who leads Private Banking’s Corporate Advisory & Banking practice in Philadelphia. “Moreover, his deep experience and relationship-focused approach to working with private businesses and their owners will be instrumental in expanding our presence in the region.”
