AM Best to Join Panel Sessions at National Council of Insurance Legislators’ Summer Meeting

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best will participate in the National Council of Insurance Legislators (NCOIL) Summer Meeting, which will take place July 19-22, 2023, in Minneapolis. Marriott City Center, MN.

Sridhar Manyem, senior director, industry research and analytics, will participate in two panel presentations, the first of which is titled, “NCOIL Special Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Series.” The panel, which will take place on Thursday, July 20, at 10:00 a.m. (CDT) is part of an ongoing series of general sessions being held throughout NCOIL’s 2023 national meetings, with this one focused on social issues. Manyem will also participate in a panel session looking at the spate of recent banking failures. Titled “Silicon Valley Bank, Signature Bank and First Republic Failures: Are We in a Banking Crisis?” the discussion is scheduled for July 21, at 1:30 p.m. (CDT).

Manyem is the head of AM Best’s industry research and public relations and his responsibilities include publishing the company’s perspectives on issues relating to the insurance industry and possible implications to Best’s Credit Ratings.
