Kinzie Capital Partners Closes First Institutional Fund at $150M in Commitments

Firm closes largest to-date fund with broad range of national and international investors

CHICAGO--()--Kinzie Capital Partners LP (“Kinzie”) announced the close of the company’s first institutional fund, Kinzie Fund II (“The Fund”). The Fund closed with $150 million in total commitments, the company’s largest to-date, from a wide range of investors including foundations, endowments, pension funds and family offices.

Kinzie’s strategy involves making control investments in U.S. lower middle-market companies within manufacturing, business services and consumer industries. Kinzie targets companies with $3 to $15 million of EBITDA and up to $250 million in revenue. The team aims to unlock operational efficiencies and create new avenues for growth through technology enhancements and digital transformation.
