AM Best to Participate at the Asociación Mexicana de Instituciones de Seguros, A.C.’s (AMIS) Upcoming Convention

MEXICO CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best Rating Services Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer Andrea Keenan will participate in a panel discussion at the Asociación Mexicana de Instituciones de Seguros, A.C.’s (AMIS) upcoming convention, which will take place May 23-24, 2023, in Mexico City.

The panel discussion is titled, “Closing the Protection Gap” and will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23. The convention’s focus will be on assessing insurance industry trends in an evolving environment and creating development proposals that allow more people to gain financial protection through insurance coverage.

Keenan also serves as senior general director of AM Best’s Mexico-based subsidiary, A.M. Best América Latina, S.A. de C.V., Institución Calificadora de Valores (AMBAL). She directs AM Best Rating Services’ strategy globally, and is responsible for the commercial, public relations, business development, industry research and corporate events teams. Keenan currently serves on the board of directors of the Microinsurance Network as vice chair and is a member of the Inclusive Insurance Working group of the Insurance Development Forum (IDF). She is also on the board of directors of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative’s Principles for Sustainable Insurance.
