Accelerate Learning Wins Two Stevie Awards in the 2023 American Business Awards

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The 21st annual American Business Awards has honored Accelerate Learning Inc. with two Stevie Awards in the Education category group. STEMscopes Science captured the top prize, the Gold Stevie Award, in the Science Instructional Solution category. Math Nation earned the Bronze Stevie Award in the Mathematics Instructional Solution category.

The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations — public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

More than 3,700 nominations were submitted this year in a wide range of categories. Each entry is reviewed and rated by no fewer than five judges. The top scoring qualifying entry in each category receives a Gold Stevie Award.

STEMscopes Science is a K-12 science curriculum that is built upon the research-based 5E lesson model, with unique Intervention and Acceleration modules. It is available in a digital format, enhanced by print materials, and brought to life through hands-on kits. Judges in ABA’s Science Instructional Solution category stated that STEMscopes Science “shows a commitment to effective learning and continuous improvement,” and that it “has amazing efficacy results and improvement in passing rates.”

Math Nation is a dynamic online resource that helps students master middle and high school mathematics. It provides 24-hour access to high-quality instructional videos, workbooks, collaborative learning tools, and adaptive assessments and support. Judges in the Mathematics Instructional Solution category stated that Math Nation is “literally changing lives by making math fun again” and that it is a “creative way of learning math and this deserves a great appreciation.”

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Tuesday, June 13.
