Agile Occupational Medicine acquires WorkWell Medical Group clinics in Central and Northern California

Agile, a rapidly growing California-based occupational medicine clinic group, has acquired WorkWell and added five locations to its expanding network of occupational medicine clinics, now with 20 clinics.

COSTA MESA, Calif.--()--Agile announced today that it had completed its acquisition of WorkWell Medical Group in Salinas, California, and will immediately operate their five clinics under the Agile brand. With this transaction, Agile now has 20 clinics throughout California and Yuma, Arizona, creating California's fourth-largest occupational medical group.

“With the acquisition of WorkWell, Agile solidifies its commitment to supporting the agriculture industry and expands its footprint to provide more complete coverage in northern California,” said Agile Founder and CEO Greg Moore. “Our shared vision of delivering the highest quality care to injured workers and supporting employers’ occupational health drew the two organizations together early on. We are very excited to add their variety of specialty services to augment our existing clinics in the area and allow us to provide a more complete solution to this market,” added Moore.

“Joining Agile was the obvious choice to build on the stellar service reputation WorkWell had and expand its reach in servicing the farming communities of Central California,” said Sridhar Murthy, CEO of WorkWell Medical Group. “We were drawn to the Agile’s technology-centricity mindset and vision to improve clinical outcomes and service quality through the fusion of technology and passionate providers,” continued Sridhar.

“We are excited to welcome the WorkWell family to be a part the Agile Occupational Medical Group,” said Minh Nguyen, DO, FACOEM and Chief Medical Officer at Agile. “WorkWell has a rich history of providing excellent occupational care and services to the rural areas of Central California. Together, we will continue to serve these much-needed communities and be a vital partner to the employers and industries in these areas,” continued Nguyen.

Agile focuses on forming partnerships with local businesses to ensure that the medical needs of local employees are addressed. From DOT physicals and drug screenings to workplace injury treatment, Agile offers a wide range of occupational health programs that help employers maintain a healthy and safe workforce while providing cost-effective health care for companies and employees.

Agile now has 20 clinics strategically located to achieve its goal of serving a majority of employers throughout California.
