Particle Health to Showcase Industry-Leading Data Interoperability for Individual Access at ViVE 2023

Particle Index to enable event attendees to securely obtain their health records onsite.

The company will also debut the Particle FOCUS solution suite designed to automatically refine patient data into code-based sets beyond C-CDA or FHIR structures

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Particle Health, an interoperability platform that aggregates and delivers actionable patient data and insights to healthcare companies, will attend ViVE 2023 and demonstrate its best-in-class data exchange capabilities that are expanding the full promise of interoperability to all clinicians and developers. Show attendees are invited be a part of the future of Individual Access by joining the team at booth #1238 and interacting with the Particle Index.

The Particle Index was established to support Particle’s healthcare institution partners to comply with the 21st Century Cures Act (Cures Act). As stated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, the information blocking rule obligates healthcare organizations to provide patients with access to their health information. Particle will encourage attendees to sign up for their Alpha program in order to monitor the responsiveness of running individual access network queries.

Introducing Particle Focus

Furthering the company’s ability to wrangle and automatically format patient data, at ViVE Particle will also be featuring its recently launched Particle FOCUS (Filtered Outputs Curated for Usability + Simplicity) solution suite. FOCUS will for the first time offer a pre-curated dataset of the most commonly used data attributes identified across millions of queries, enabling faster access to care-enriching insights. Additionally, the FOCUS by Specialty suite are designed to deliver organized patient health information across seven disease states: Diabetes, Cardiology, Oncology, Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Pulmonology, Orthopedics, and Gastroenterology. Core to the solutions is the ability to automatically refine patient data into code-based sets of relevant labs (LOINC), diagnoses (ICD-10), procedures (CPT/HCPCS), and medications (RxNORM). The most pertinent disease drivers and indicators are easily filtered to enable providers to quickly integrate relevant patient health information into their workflows and inform treatment plans.

"At ViVE, the Particle team is excited to demonstrate how we’re activating over 320 million patient medical records from 160,000+ healthcare organizations to fuel Individual Access and innovations for on-site care, virtual care, home health, and value-based care initiatives,” explained Troy Bannister, CEO of Particle Health. "With the recent release of Particle FOCUS, we’re further delivering on our mission to enable simple and secure access to patient data by empowering innovators to rapidly onboard patients and optimize treatment and care transitions.”
