Rivers Casino in Philly and Pittsburgh Launch Market-Leading Compensation & Hiring Campaign for Table Games Dealers

PHILADELPHIA & PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--If you’d rather play games for a living, there’s never been a better time—or a better place—than right now at Rivers Casino in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

The two Pennsylvania casinos are mounting a region-wide campaign to attract both new and experienced table games dealers to join their ranks. By offering the highest-known base rate in Pennsylvania, starting dealers will earn base plus tips which can add up to $30 per hour. There are experienced dealers who already exceed that amount at both Rivers Casino locations in PA.

“When it comes to dealers’ pay, Rivers Casino brings more to the table,” said Tim Drehkoff, CEO of Rivers Casino and Rush Street Gaming. “We also provide a great environment. Rivers Casino in both Pittsburgh and Philly have repeatedly been voted a ‘Best Place to Work’ and ‘Top Workplace’ by our Team Members.”

Rivers Casino provides a fun, supportive and inclusive workplace culture with flexible schedules and opportunities for advancement. Other Rivers Casino benefits include but are not limited to:

  • Healthcare
  • Immediate 401(k) vesting
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Free Team Member parking

Learn More. Earn More.

For candidates interested in earning certification for conventional blackjack and other table games, Rivers Casino will cover the entire cost of the dealer training course, plus compensate trainees for classroom time.

Dealers can further accelerate their base pay by learning multiple games including baccarat, roulette and craps. Each additional game moves dealers up the pay scale and adds variety to their workday—while giving the casino more options for mutually beneficial scheduling.

No prior casino experience is needed. Pennsylvania table games dealers must be at least 18 years of age.

Applicants from all walks of life have become successful table games dealers including veterans, retirees, career-changers, current students, recent graduates or individuals looking to supplement other current earnings. Please visit our career pages online at Rivers Casino Philadelphia and Pittsburgh for a list of current openings.
