Renalogic Announces Record Growth in 2022 – CKD Management Company Continues to be Category Leader

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Renalogic, the leading company helping employers and self-funded health plans fight the human and financial costs of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end-stage renal disease (ESRD), announced record growth in 2022.

In 2022, Renalogic added more than 75 new client plans which support more than 150,000 members. These new clients range in size from a plan with a few dozen plan members up to a Fortune 500 company with 50,000 members. All types of self-funded plans and industries were represented by these new clients, including Taft-Hartley plans, municipal plans, and employer plans in retail, transportation, construction, leisure, and health care industries. Through these expanded relationships, Renalogic now supports the financial and clinical health of nearly 600,000 members in all 50 states.

The company also expanded its relationship with channel partners, welcoming some of the nation’s leading third-party administrators and benefit brokerages and consulting firms.

During the year, Renalogic’s cost-saving solution saved clients more than $50 million and was certified by the Validation Institute, as being a major cost-saver for self-funded plans.

Among the impacts of the company’s care management services was the company’s ability to intervene early to prevent the progression of CKD. For example, Renalogic was twice as effective as the general commercial market in forestalling the progression of members with CKD stage 2 progressing to CKD stage 4. Renalogic was similarly impactful in helping late-stage CKD sufferers. The company was able to prevent 86% of members who entered Renalogic’s program at CKD stage 5 from progressing to dialysis.
