Joseph Gunnar Announces the Addition of Ryan Konik to Lead its Institutional Sales Team

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Joseph Gunnar & Co., LLC (“JGUN”), a leading full service broker-dealer, investment adviser, and investment bank, focused on the emerging growth markets, continues to grow its team with the addition of Ryan Konik as Head of Institutional Sales. JGUN is excited to add an experienced leader like Ryan who will be focusing on equity and debt corporate finance transactions within the emerging growth and middle markets. Gerard Hug and Cord Stafford will also join JGUN’s Institutional Sales Group, effective immediately.

Mssrs. Konik, Stafford and Hug bring almost two decades of experience in equity capital markets and institutional sales to JGUN, recently participating in over 60 sole book-runner public offerings, raising over $3 billion in gross proceeds for small-cap and micro-cap companies.

Mr. Konik joins JGUN from ThinkEquity, where he was a founding employee and Managing Director. Prior to ThinkEquity, Mr. Konik held various roles in sales at Joseph Gunnar & Co, Intuitive Venture Partners, and National Securities Corporation, where he focused on IPOs, follow-on offerings, and private placements. Mr. Konik is a Series 7, Series 66 licensed Registered Representative and Series 24 General Securities Principal. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from The State University of New York at Albany.
