Honor Technology Honored by Goldman Sachs for Entrepreneurship

CEO and Co-Founder Seth Sternberg Among the Most Exceptional Entrepreneurs at 2022 Builders and Innovators Summit

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Honor Technology, Inc., the world's largest home care network for older adults with the most advanced care platform technology, today announced that its co-founder and CEO, Seth Sternberg, has been recognized by Goldman Sachs as one of the Most Exceptional Entrepreneurs of 2022 at its Builders and Innovators Summit in Healdsburg, California.

Goldman Sachs selected Sternberg as one of the top entrepreneurs from multiple industries to be honored at the two-day event. Under Sternberg’s leadership, Honor supports the work of more than 100,000 Care Professionals and meets the expanding needs of older adults and their families around the world with their groundbreaking, AI-enabled Honor Care Platform.

"It is an honor to be recognized by Goldman Sachs alongside such an impressive roster of entrepreneurs who are leading their industries forward," said Sternberg. "This past year has been an incredible time of growth for Honor, from raising our Series E funding to announcing our acquisition of Home Instead. This award underscores our ability to expand the world's capacity to care and enhance the aging experience for older adults, their loved ones and care professionals.”

The vast majority (88%) of people over 50 say it’s important that they keep living in their current homes for as long as possible. It’s critical that aging adults and their loved ones get the care and resources they need to meet this desire to age in place. The Care Platform is designed specifically with the Care Pro in mind. Not only does it benefit the Client by updating care plans in real-time and keeping their loved ones aware of any changes, the Care Platform also allows Care Pros to have autonomy and control over their schedule, and provides work opportunities that match their unique skill sets.

“We’re delighted to recognize Seth Sternberg as one of the most exceptional entrepreneurs of 2022,” said David M. Solomon, Chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs. “They have made extraordinary contributions to a wide range of fields, and all of us are looking forward to meeting with these innovative thinkers.”

In addition to honoring the most exceptional entrepreneurs, the Builders and Innovators Summit consists of general sessions and clinics led by seasoned entrepreneurs, academics and business leaders as well as resident scholars.
