Yieldstreet Successfully Completes SOC 2 Type 2 Audit for Data Security

Independent audit confirms Yieldstreet’s commitment to exceeding industry standards around data security and privacy

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Yieldstreet, a leading private market alternative investment platform, today announced the successful completion of its System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type 2 attestation for Yieldstreet’s customer data protocols. This achievement reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to the highest levels of data security.

The audit was independently conducted by Mazars USA LLP to provide reasonable assurance that Yieldstreet’s service commitments and system requirements were achieved based on all five Trust Services Criteria as set forth by American Institute of CPAs (AICPA): Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy.

The SOC 2 Type 2 report is intended to meet the needs of a broad range of users that need detailed information and assurance about the controls at Yieldstreet relevant to security, availability, and processing integrity of the systems Yieldstreet uses to process users’ data and the confidentiality and privacy of the information processed by these systems.

“With Security being the minimum requirement for a SOC 2 audit, our ability to successfully obtain a SOC 2 Type 2 on all five trust services criteria further demonstrates Yieldstreet’s commitment to our customers and business partners on data security,” said Azret Deljanin, Vice President of Infrastructure and Security at Yieldstreet. “This is the gold standard. It’s a testament to how we’ve ensured that data security and privacy are baked into everything we do, even as we continue to experience rapid growth across our platform.”

Prior to this most recent attestation, Yieldstreet successfully completed its SOC 2 Type 1 attestation, which was also conducted by Mazars USA LLP.
