Socius’ Unwavering Generosity While Facing a Recession

Leader of Socius Foundation Carries on Tradition

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Paul Lefcourt, Co-Founder of Socius Insurance, has stepped into the role of Chairman of the Socius Foundation and his commitment to community is resolute.

With only a few months as Chairman, Lefcourt is staying the course of generosity like his predecessor Patrick Hanley. “Coming out of the impact of Covid-19, the need to assist hard-working charitable organizations is more important now, than even before the pandemic,” says Lefcourt. “Although we are still hard at work to raise and contribute funds in 2022, we are proud that we made contributions to great work in 2021. With solid fundraising partnerships with many insurance carriers, combined with the foundation’s special events, and volunteer time and money given via employees, Socius Foundation’s team is excited about the more than seventy grants given to organizations all over the country. Our biggest contributor is still Socius Insurance.” Lefcourt continued, “Because there is a great deal of need, we try to focus our contributions to charities who operate in the same communities as our offices. We invite nominations from both the employees and clients of Socius Insurance. We will continue to empower the work of a variety of organizations that cover all seasons of life. Our contributions have equipped the work of everything from The Ronald McDonald House to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, to The Harbor Hospice Foundation. We also contribute to organizations that make the world a better place like Park, Inc. and The Quailwings Rescue. We give to a variety of shelters, and most recently contributed to The World Central Kitchen feeding the people of the Ukraine.”

“Generosity is a way of life for Socius, and not just based on temporary successes,” says Lefcourt. “I am excited about continuing the pursuit of the Socius Foundation’s vision in the years to come.”
