Navitus Health Solutions Welcomes Shayna Schulz as Chief Operations Officer

MADISON, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Navitus Health Solutions, an industry-disrupting pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) that’s committed to bringing humanity to pharmacy benefits management through greater transparency and affordability, announced today that Shayna Schulz has joined the company as Chief Operations Officer. Shayna is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to the eligibility, claims administration and customer care operations to ensure Navitus continues to reach the highest operational efficiency and service delivery standards.

Shayna most recently served as Chief Operating Officer for Included Health. Prior to that, she held several positions at Blue Shield of California, including serving as Senior Vice President, Transformation and Operations, leading a team of over 2,000 people. In that role, she was responsible for operational strategy and member experience, including enrollment, benefits, claims, provider operations, appeals and grievances and customer contact centers. She also oversaw the teams focused on employee enablement, ensuring they were resourced and equipped with appropriate training, tools and coaching support.

Before joining Blue Shield of California, Shayna served as vice president of Customer Service at Allstate, where she led the company’s 2,000-person customer contact center organization supporting the needs of Allstate customers across the company’s property, casualty, life and retirement lines of business. Shayna holds a Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude in English Literature and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Boston University, and a Master of Business Administration from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
