Augustine Chung, J.D. Promoted to Vice President of Cordoba Corporation's Transportation Infrastructure Sector

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cordoba Corporation is pleased to announce that Augustine Chung, J.D. has been promoted to Vice President in Cordoba Corporation's Transportation Infrastructure Sector.

In this new role, Augustine will be working closely with Conrado Ayala, Vice President of Transportation Infrastructure, to manage resources and operations throughout out the state and lead business development efforts with several key clients and partners in Northern California to deliver projects.

"Augustine has demonstrated a strong work ethic, effective management skills and excellent business development acumen during his tenure here at Cordoba Corporation," stated Founder & CEO George L. Pla. "He will do a great job working with Conrado and our Transportation Team in managing the sector's operations and expanding business development opportunities."

Before his promotion as Vice President, Augustine was Cordoba Corporation's Northern California Regional Manager. He worked with all of Cordoba’s sectors including key clients in Water, Energy and Education sectors.

Augustine has also worked on several programs during his tenure at Cordoba with a focus on program management. During his time on the California High-Speed Rail Program (CHSRP), he was promoted four times and was most recently the Deputy Director of Real Property for the CHSRP. His work includes Third Party, Right of Way, Stakeholder and Utility expertise. In August 2022, Augustine will celebrate his tenth anniversary at Cordoba Corporation.

Prior to joining Cordoba Corporation, Augustine was a practicing attorney with significant contract and client management experience. His practice areas included professional liability, construction and contract disputes, and securities law. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School and his B.A. in Economics from Carlton College. Augustine is also a graduate of the Bridge Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
