MEDIA ADVISORY: Benchmark Digital To Convene ESG Experts for a Discussion of the SEC’s Proposed Climate Rules

Discussion will focus on proposed rules’ implication for business leaders and emerging trends in enterprise sustainability performance management

CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Benchmark Digital (Benchmark), a leading provider of cloud-based Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) software solutions, invites you to its fourth ESG Executive Collaboration Forum on April 20, 2022.

During the first half of the Forum, featured expert Dr. Christine Haman, Sustainability & ESG Manager with Trinity Consultants, will break down the proposed rule into business impact terms and discuss how business leaders can leverage technology to use “preemptive compliance” in light of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) proposal for mandatory corporate climate risk disclosures. Specifically, Dr. Haman will cover the improvements that cloud-supported enterprise data management software can bring to companies’ measurement, management and disclosure of their value chain—Scope 3—emissions.

And in the latter half of the Forum, Benchmark Chief Development & Strategy Officer, Donavan Hornsby, will conduct a lively, open-ended Q&A with the former president and CEO of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Mahesh Ramanujam. They will discuss the concomitant evolution of enterprise sustainability management best practices and maturation of ESG measurement and disclosure standards; and they will share their outlooks and aspirations for the next generation of ESG software, including its emergent intersections with blockchain applications.
