Hudson Insurance Group Establishes New Platform for Small Healthcare Clients

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hudson Insurance Group (Hudson) today announced that Daniel Springman has joined the HudsonPro® team as underwriting manager and head of its ancillary medical professional liability business. Mr. Springman will focus on expanding HudsonPro’s offerings in the ancillary sector and build a new platform to address the unique needs of small healthcare businesses.

Mr. Springman has over 15 years of experience underwriting healthcare and miscellaneous medical professional liability lines. Prior to joining Hudson, he spent 11 years at Beazley where he most recently served as its group leader for U.S. private enterprise miscellaneous medical insurance. He began his insurance career at Markel Corporation as a professional liability underwriter.

Mr. Springman holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, and a B.S. and M.B.A. from the University of Missouri.
