The Association of Independent Mortgage Experts Reveals Further Executive Leadership Team Growth

The continuing evolution will intensify AIME's mission and ongoing commitment to protect, support, and grow the wholesale channel.

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Association of Independent Mortgage Experts (AIME), a non-profit, national trade membership association created exclusively for independent mortgage brokers, welcomed additional AIME members to the organization’s executive leadership team: Jamie Cavanaugh, Vice President of Outreach, Mike Cox, Vice President of Education, and, Janine Kempfer, Vice President of Impact.

A long-term AIME member, Jamie Cavanaugh is the current President of California-based Amerifund Home Loans, Inc. With twenty-five years of experience in operations, sales, business efficiencies, and vendor services, her 2021 volume surpassed $104,730,000 in originations. As Vice President of Outreach, she will take charge of AIME’s membership recruitment efforts, identify new engagement opportunities, and promote the organization’s benefits to prospective members and partners.

Mortgage Nerds Broker/Owner Mike Cox recently expanded his business into five states after successfully transitioning a top-producing Wisconsin retail mortgage office to the broker channel in 2020. Mike has over twenty years of mortgage industry experience. In 2021, he was able to secure $120 million in loan volume.

Additionally, Mike is a member of Vetted VA and is renowned for his marketing efforts to educate consumers and mortgage professionals on industry knowledge.

Janine Kempfer, Broker/Owner of Prime Mortgage, will be positioned at the forefront of promoting how brokers are the best option for underserved communities. With twenty-seven years of experience in the mortgage and real estate fields, she has helped numerous diverse families become homeowners or refinance their mortgages.
