Former Blackstone executive brings 20+ years of combined CTO and board member experience to Cherre

Throughout his career, Bill has served as a board member for more than ten companies including Accurics, iLevel, and Carbon Black.

Bill Murphy is a managing partner at Cresting Wave and a Senior Advisor at McKinsey and Co. He previously served as the CTO at Blackstone, where he oversaw the integration of the firm’s technology and was responsible for its strategic technology investment portfolio. Prior To Blackstone, Bill was the founding CTO for Capital IQ, one of the first true SaaS companies, overseeing product design, development infrastructure and technology support.
