LiveAction’s Head of Channel Named 2022 Channel Chief by CRN

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LiveAction, a leader in end-to-end visibility for network security and performance, today announced that its SVP of Channels and Alliances, Joe O’Connor, was named to CRN’s 2022 Channel Chiefs list. A brand of The Channel Company, CRN’s annual Channel Chiefs list identifies top IT channel vendor executives who continually demonstrate expertise, influence and innovation in channel leadership. A panel of CRN editors selected the honorees for their channel dedication, industry stature and accomplishments as channel advocates. The 2022 Channel Chiefs are influential leaders who continue to shape the IT channel with innovative strategies, programs and partnerships.

Joe O’Connor was named to the list for his accomplishments in growing LiveAction’s channel presence and revenue. Specifically, over the past year, he was responsible for revamping the company’s partner SPIFF incentive program resulting in dramatic new partner-led opportunities. O’Connor was also responsible for developing a new LiveAction product compensation program and, for the first time, led LiveAction into a new Fed/SLED channel with specialized distribution partners. He has also done extensive work with larger public sector resellers to develop new sales and marketing programs that target networking teams at federal agencies.

“It’s an honor to be recognized as a 2022 Channel Chief, given that LiveAction has increased its active partner ecosystem by more than 20% over the past year. We also recently acquired Counterflow AI, a network detection and response company, which is opening new channel opportunities for the team to work with security providers in 2022,” said Joe O’Conner, SVP of Channels and Alliances at LiveAction. “This year will present new network and security challenges and opportunities that our entire team is excited to help partners navigate.”

“CRN’s 2022 Channel Chiefs recognition is given exclusively to the foremost channel executives who consistently design, promote, and execute effective partner programs and strategies,” said Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company. “We’re thrilled to recognize the tireless work and unwavering commitment these honorees put into fostering outstanding business innovation and building strong partner programs to drive channel engagement and success.”

CRN’s 2022 Channel Chiefs list is featured in the February 2022 issue of CRN Magazine and online at www.CRN.com/ChannelChiefs.
