Dome Construction Wins Two Construction Employers’ Association Awards

Dome Construction was awarded the CEA Excellence in Safety and President’s awards

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dome Construction, one of California’s leading general contractors, today announced that the company won two awards from Construction Employers’ Association (CEA). Dome Construction won the Excellence in Safety award for the 19^th year in a row, proving its consistent work towards safety in the industry. The company also earned the President’s Safety Award for the second year in a row, making this their 6^th President’s Safety award win.

The Excellence in Safety Award winners have achieved both a total incident rate and a lost workday incident rate 25 percent below the industry average, an experience modification rate below 1.0, a flat or negative experience modification trend over the past four years and demonstration of an active safety training program.

The President’s Safety Award recognizes CEA member firms whose safety programs far exceed the industry standard. President’s Safety Award winners are recognized for having achieved both a total injury and incident rate and a lost workday rate at least 50 percent below the industry average, an experience modification rate of .70 or less.
