SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--To honor its roots in Asian tradition, P.F. Chang’s is celebrating the 2022 Lunar New Year with a limited-time cocktail and seasonal experiences.
An exclusive offering during the Lunar New Year is the specialty cocktail, Iwai of the Tiger. “In celebration of the Year of the Tiger, we’ve launched a limited-time cocktail to expand our elevated menu and provide our guests with an immersive experience that honors the Lunar New Year tradition and brings excitement to the table,” said Tana Davila, chief marketing officer for P.F. Chang’s.
The Iwai of the Tiger features Mars Iwai 45 Japanese Whisky, elderflower liqueur, green tea agave, lemon, pineapple and fresh mint and is a great way to ring in the new year. The cocktail which features augmented reality technology to bring the spirit of the tiger to life in an unexpected way is sure to delight guests. Iwai of the Tiger will remain on the menu through April 19.
P.F. Chang’s menu also allows guests to ring in the Lunar New Year with “lucky” classic dishes that symbolize good fortune in the new year. Dishes include Handmade Pork Dumplings to represent wealth, Vegetable Lo Mein Noodles to encourage happiness and longevity, and the Oolong Chilean Seabass and Sushi Rolls to welcome prosperity. These menu items are available for guests to enjoy through dine-in and to-go. P.F. Chang’s also offers catering options for Lunar New Year celebrations at home.
The Lunar New Year festivities extend to P.F. Chang’s locations across the United States, where restaurant guests will enjoy the culture and custom marked by the new moon. Lantern Festivals in Asia symbolize the coming of spring, wishes for a bright future and driving away bad luck. In line with that tradition, black and gold lanterns will adorn P.F. Chang’s bistros in celebration of the holiday. Other elements of the celebration include a limited-edition gold motif Lunar New Year gift card, highlighting the Year of the Tiger, available in-restaurant and online for the remainder of 2022.
