Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP Elects Three Lawyers to Partnership: Stephen Blaker, Christopher Elliott, and Louise Truong

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP (MSK) is pleased to announce that the firm has elected three new partners, effective January 1, 2022. The new partners, all based in Los Angeles and representing a broad range of practice areas, are Stephen A. Blaker, Christopher Elliott, and Louise Truong.

Stephen A. Blaker is a member of the Immigration practice group. His practice is dedicated to handling employment and family-based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions for a multitude of industries. Mr. Blaker works with employers and individuals on employment-based matters, Adjustment of Status and Naturalization applications. Mr. Blaker was named "Ones to Watch" in Best Lawyers in America (2021-22). He received his J.D. from University of Southern California Gould School of Law and a B.A. from Tufts University.

Christopher Elliott is a member of the Litigation practice group, focusing on commercial and entertainment litigation. He has represented entertainment and other companies in a wide variety of matters including profit participation, First Amendment, defamation, employment, and business disputes. Mr. Elliott was named to Southern California’s Super Lawyers’ “Rising Stars” list from 2015-2019. He received his J.D. from University of Southern California Gould School of Law and a B.M. from University of Southern California.

Louise Truong is a member of the Labor & Employment practice group. She represents employers ranging from Fortune 50 companies to start-ups in a variety of employment disputes involving wrongful termination, harassment, whistleblower, discrimination, trade secrets misappropriation, and wage and hour class action and PAGA claims. She also counsels employers regarding the drafting of, revisions to and compliance with workplace policies for avoiding litigation. Ms. Truong received her J.D. from University of California, Hastings College of the Law and a B.A. from University of California, Irvine.
