Wedbush Securities Welcomes Richard Franchella as its First National Sales Manager
New Role Enhances Financial Advisors’ Tool Box for Best-In-Class Opportunities
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wedbush Securities, one of the nation’s leading independent financial services providers, is pleased to announce Richard (“Rich”) Franchella has joined Wedbush Securities as National Sales Manager. The newly created role will allow the firm to expand its capabilities in asset management and wealth management locations, offering the firm’s financial advisors and clients world-class solutions to serve their needs. Rich is based out of the firm’s New York office and reports to Robert Limmer.
With more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, Rich brings with him a variety of skills and industry experience needed to excel in this new position at Wedbush. He started his career on the trading floor of the American Stock Exchange, before going in-house with Merrill Lynch and eventually making his way up the ranks to Field Leadership at PaineWebber. He also spent six years with Prudential Securities and seven years with RBC managing the New York metropolitan area. After stints as Branch Manager and as a junior executive, Rich became the youngest National Sales Manager for a bulge bracket firm at the age of 37. During his career, Rich was also the chairperson of SIFMA’s executive committee, twice, and is a frequent keynote speaker – sharing knowledge about the future of wealth management.

Rich received his Bachelor’s degree from Iona College in New York and earned his Securities Industry Institute® certification from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
