UHSM Unveils Epic Prizes in Social Media Sweepstakes

Detroit Lion’s Receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, an Ambassador Athlete of the Health Sharing Ministry, to Give Away Free Tickets and More in Giveaway

NORFOLK, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--UHSM (Unite Health Share Ministries), a faith-based health care nonprofit founded on Christian beliefs and values, today announced a sweepstakes collaboration with Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown for a chance to win tickets to the Lion’s game against the Green Bay Packers on January 9. To enter, participants need only follow St. Brown and UHSM on either Instagram or Twitter, sharing the sweepstakes and tagging three friends, one entry per platform.

Two lucky winners will get a set of four tickets to the January 9th game, along with an autographed jersey from St. Brown, a $400 American Express Gift Card and a swag bag with team merchandise. The two winners will be announced on December 28.

“With my job, I need the best access to health care any time, anywhere,” said St. Brown, wide receiver with the Detroit Lions. “This is why I’ve teamed up with UHSM, an organization that reflects my values and passion for healthy living. UHSM doesn’t make you choose between your faith and healthcare – as a Christian, that’s very important to me. It’s a pleasure to give back and award its members during this holiday sweepstakes.”

UHSM gives its members the best of both faith and healthcare, so they don’t have to make the hard decision between the two. Prioritizing a holistic view to health and wellbeing, UHSM provides members with access to over 5,600 hospitals, 1.2 million providers across its expansive PPO Network and direct access to the CVS MinuteClinic. With UHSM, it’s also easy to schedule telehealth appointments online from the comfort of one’s own home. Moreover, members can share and give back to other Christians.

“The Amon-Ra sweepstakes is our gift to Americans this Christmas Season,” said Chris Jin, president of UHSM. “A lot of great things are happening at UHSM, and this giveaway exemplifies our excitement going into 2022. Moreover, with how hectic things are nowadays, UHSM is committed to offering opportunities for joy amidst the hustle and bustle.”

About UHSM

UHSM Health Share is a nonprofit, faith-based health sharing ministry that facilitates member-to-member health sharing among fellow Christians, serving as a connector to administer medical cost sharing through its We Share programs. Christian healthcare is chosen by millions each year over traditional insurance plans, and We Share programs by UHSM stand alone as the only health sharing that offers members true prescription coverage through the CVS Caremark network plus access to basic care through CVS Minute Clinic and Health Hub. We Share and UHSM members can also access care through nearly one million doctors, hospitals and specialists in the First Health PPO Network, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aetna Inc. Additionally, all members can contact the DocDay telehealth network seven days a week for diagnoses, treatment, lab orders and prescriptions related to more than 40 health conditions. Headquartered in Norfolk, VA, UHSM offers its members simple, fair, and friendly healthcare programs. The UHSM mission is to help Christian families fulfill their God-given purpose to care for one another, foster holistic wellbeing, and positively impact our communities in need.
