Quickbase Hires Eric Speciel as Chief Customer Success Officer; Brings on Senior Expertise to Meet Demand for Vertical Industry Solutions

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Quickbase, the leading no-code platform, announced today it has hired Eric Speciel as chief customer success officer. Speciel’s role will focus on accelerating customer adoption with vertical-industry solutions and services. He joins Quickbase from Mendix, where he served as global vice president of customer success. Prior to Mendix, Speciel held global leadership roles at high-growth SaaS companies including Zuora, Rapid7 and PTC. Speciel’s role will also help Quickbase expand internationally as the global demand for no-code platforms to support complex, high-stake digital transformation initiatives continues to increase.

Speciel’s hiring comes as the company recently announced substantial investment to expand the company’s services capabilities, particularly for segments that support the global infrastructure boom – including construction and manufacturing – where complex, multidimensional processes require technical and domain expertise to accelerate the platform's value.

“Quickbase empowers business users without coding experience to build enterprise applications at scale. This is a game changer in the current environment where digital transformation is a must while IT resources remain scarce,” Speciel said. “The demand for software solutions that bridge this gap will continue to grow. I look forward to partnering with our customers as they work to solve mission-critical business problems.”

“We’re proud to bring on a seasoned customer success leader in Eric, who has spent nearly 25 years in the tech world helping organizations accomplish their goals and drive digital transformation,” Ed Jennings, CEO of Quickbase, said. “We’re seeing more and more customers that need software solutions and services that are as unique as the challenges they’re trying to solve. This attention to customer success is critical, and under Eric’s leadership, we’re confident we’ll be able to propel our customer success efforts to the next level as we continue to see rapid growth in the U.S. and worldwide.”
