Mutual of Omaha Reverse Mortgage to Present Panel on ‘Financing the Second Half of Life’ at Century Summit

OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mutual of Omaha Reverse Mortgage is joining forces with the Academy for Home Equity in Financial Planning from the University of Illinois U-C and fellow retirement industry experts to present “Financing the Second Half of Life,” a panel at the 2021 Century Summit. The Summit is presented by the Longevity Project, in collaboration with the Stanford Center on Longevity, and will be held virtually December 7-9.

“Financing the Second Half of Life,” which is sponsored by Mutual of Omaha Reverse Mortgage, will focus on the importance of recognizing home equity as a retirement asset in the context of greater longevity, market volatility and unexpected expenses in a what could be a lengthy retirement. Participants on the panel will include:

The Century Summit aims to bring leaders across business, research, culture and government together to discuss the impact of people living longer lives. The Century Summit will feature new visions on health care, promoting and maintaining intergenerational relationships and rethinking the second half of life in the new age of longevity.
