Houston Trust Company Announces New Chief Fiduciary Officer

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Houston Trust Company is pleased to announce that Frances R. Marshall has joined the Company’s leadership team as Executive Vice President and Chief Fiduciary Officer. In this role, Frances will focus on establishing best and consistent fiduciary practices across the Company, managing fiduciary risk, and providing support, guidance, and training to Houston Trust Company’s team of 12 trust administrators. She will also chair the Trust Committee.

Frances has more than 15 years of fiduciary management experience. Most recently, she served as Chief Fiduciary Officer at Wealthgate Trust in Las Vegas, Nevada where she oversaw all fiduciary activity as well as operations, finance, and compliance. A former practicing trusts and estates attorney, Frances also held leadership roles for U.S. Trust’s (now Bank of America Private Bank) Western Division and at Charles Schwab Trust Company in Henderson, Nevada. Frances holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of San Diego School of Law.
