Health insurer makes 2021 Forbes Best Employers By State list

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has once again ranked as one of Tennessee’s top employers in the Forbes Best Employers By State list, the result of an anonymous national survey conducted from October 2020 through June 2021.

BlueCross ranked ninth of 80 companies on the Tennessee list and is the highest-ranked organization with a Chattanooga headquarters. This year, the company also earned recognition from Forbes as one of the top large employers in the U.S., one of the best employers for women and — for a fourth consecutive year — one of America’s Best Employers for Diversity.
