Church Mutual® Names Chief People Officer

MERRILL, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pamela Stampen has been named chief people officer of Church Mutual Insurance Company, S.I. (a stock insurer)1, reporting to Rich Poirier, president and CEO.

Stampen’s role will encompass all the essential elements of recruitment and retention – learning and development, organizational development, human resources, diversity and inclusion – and the leaders of each function will report directly to her.

Stampen is a results-driven leader with more than 15 years of human resource leadership experience and more than 10 years of operational leadership experience. Most recently, she served as chief people officer for Total Administrative Services Corporation (TASC), a nationwide administrator of tax-advantaged health benefit plans. She also spent 22 years at American Family Insurance in various roles, including vice president of Human Resources.

Stampen holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in organizational development and interpersonal communication. In addition, she earned a Master of Science in business – quantitative analysis and a Master of Business Administration – human resources, both from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
