Nelson Vallin Joins Insigneo’s Network

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Insigneo, the Miami-based Independent Broker-Dealer and Registered Investment Advisory firm, has incorporated new top talent from HSBC, as a leading financial advisor has joined the firm’s independent network based in Miami. Nelson O. Vallin has joined Insigneo as Senior Vice President and Investment Consultant, adding to the growing list of financial advisors that have joined the company in the past few months. He manages $212M in all Latin America but mostly in Argentina, Mexico, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Brazil.

Before working at HSBC, Nelson worked at Bank of America International Private bank from 2004 to 2005. Nelson worked closely with US and international clients assisting them in creating investment portfolios, managing their risks, rebalancing, assessing their financial conditions, and evaluating changes in the environment.

Nelson has an MBA from the University of Chicago with concentrations in Finance and Economics. Before that, Nelson earned his bachelor’s degree at Florida International University where he majored in Finance and International Business. He holds the FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses as well as the Life Health and Variable Annuities Licenses.
