SpotHero Launches In-Dash Parking Reservation App For Drivers on Android Auto

CHICAGO--()--SpotHero, the digital parking leader in North America, today launches its parking reservation app on Android Auto™. Drivers can now view, navigate to and redeem SpotHero reservations via their car’s head unit in over 300 cities across North America.

Android Auto is a more safe and seamless way to use your Android™ apps while driving. With Android Auto, drivers can pull up SpotHero reservations, view details and navigate to the parking facility via any supported navigation app all within their car display. To get started, drivers need an Android Auto supported vehicle and the SpotHero app downloaded on their Android phone.

“At SpotHero, we’re focused on making life easier for drivers,” said Chief Product Officer Matt DiBari. “This new SpotHero experience on Android Auto supports drivers from the moment they sit behind the wheel, bringing a simple way to access parking through the in-car display.”

SpotHero’s expansion to Android Auto is the latest of several Google integrations for the digital parking marketplace. SpotHero introduced Google Pay™ support in 2017, making payments easier than ever before for drivers. In 2018, SpotHero announced a Google Assistant integration via Android Auto at CES.
