ERI’s David Hirschler Shares Updates and Insights on COVID-19’s Effects on Electronic Recycling with Environmental Council of States

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--David Hirschler, Senior Director of Sustainability & Legislative Compliance for ERI, the nation’s largest fully integrated IT and electronics asset disposition provider and cybersecurity-focused hardware destruction company, presented insights on the electronics recycling sector as part of the Environmental Council of the States (ECOS) Sustainable Materials Management Workgroup meeting earlier this week.

As part of the workgroup meeting, Hirschler shared updates on extended producer responsibility and the impacts COVID-19 has had on the electronic recycling space.

Other presenters included spokespeople from Product Stewardship Institute, the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation and the U.S. EPA.
