The certification ensures that Metaswitch customers now have a readily available compliant mediation solution from SS8.
By completing the interoperability testing, Metaswitch can offer communication service providers (CSPs) a new compliant Lawful Intercept and Mediation solution. Additionally, as Governments and CSPs around the world are making the required changes to meet new communication challenges associated with 5G, SS8 solutions will be a valuable complement to the Perimeta SBC.
SS8’s Xcipio is a Lawful Mediation solution engineered to exceed 3GPP 5G standards. It adjusts dynamically as networks scale to securely and reliably intercept and handoff communication data and metadata to intelligence agencies.
