Guidehouse’s Sherlonda Goode-Jones Awarded 2021 Diversity in Business Honor from Washington Business Journal

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Guidehouse, a leading consultancy and solutions provider to the public and commercial sectors, proudly announced that Sherlonda Goode-Jones, Partner and Public Sector Financial Services Practice Leader, is a Washington Business Journal Diversity in Business Award honoree.

The 14th annual program celebrates diversity and inclusion in the workforce and honors inspiring business leaders of color in Greater Washington. Selected from over 200 nominations, Sherlonda is among a strong group of 25 exceptional individuals that have exhibited outstanding performance both professionally and in their community.

A recognized industry veteran, Sherlonda’s consulting career embodies more than 22 years of experience across the financial services and transportation industries. She currently leads Guidehouse’s Mortgage and Housing Finance business and client teams that provide advisory services to federal agencies involved in housing finance, financial stabilization, and credit operations.

As the Partner Champion for Guidehouse’s Black Inclusion Network, Sherlonda spearheads a team of 20 partners in the firm working towards this goal of supporting social justice programs. She is responsible for leading efforts to promote diversity efforts across the firm, including Guidehouse’s Listen, Learn and Act initiative to advance racial and social justice and equality.
