Cloudbreak Health Executive Elected to Board of National Council on Interpreting in Health Care

Tatiana Cestari, PhD will serve two-year term with fellow leaders

LOS ANGELES & COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cloudbreak Health, LLC (“Cloudbreak”), a leading telehealth and video remote interpretation solutions provider, today announced that Tatiana Cestari, PhD, the company’s director of language service advocacy, was elected as a Director to the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC) board. NCIHC’s mission is to promote and enhance language access in health care in the United States.

Cestari is Cloudbreak Health’s Director of Language Service Advocacy. She is a nationally certified medical interpreter with 20 years of experience in healthcare as a pharmacist, pharmacologist, researcher, professor and manager. Cestari has educated health systems about best practices, compliance, and cultural sensitivity and competency. Cestari has a Ph.D. in pharmacology from Universidad Central de Venezuela and holds a Certified Healthcare Interpreter™ (CHI™) Spanish National Certification.

NCIHC is governed by an 11-member board of directors. Its members are leaders that include medical interpreters, interpreter service coordinators and trainers, clinicians, policymakers, advocates and researchers. Cestari will have a two-year term (2021-2023) with an eligibility to run for three terms. The newly elected board will be sworn in at the Annual Membership Meeting April 8-10, 2021.
