ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In early 2018, Wilson & Company, Engineers & Architects, Inc. restructured their governance approach by onboarding four internal and three external board members. With a fresh perspective and a future-focused approach, Wilson & Company appointed Gayle Roberts, PE, former Chair, President, and CEO of Stanley Consultants and its parent company, SC Companies, to its Board of Directors effective January 1, 2021.

Roberts is a senior executive with more than 39 years of experience in the consulting engineering industry, including serving as Chair, President and CEO of Stanley Consultants. Stanley Consultants is a global engineering service provider recognized in the engineering industry with private and governmental clients in the energy, water, and transportation sectors.
The executive experience Roberts brings is from leading a $200 million revenue, 1100-person company, with emphasis in strategic planning and organizational development to propel enterprise growth life-cycle, and drive performance and profitability to create shareholder value. She has a passion for leadership development and providing opportunities for the next generation of engineers.
Her board experience includes a strong understanding of corporate governance and board leadership, which encourages forward-thinking board discussions focused on key issues of risk, strategy, talent development, and culture. Roberts is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and has completed Director Professionalism training.
