Ochsner Health Looks to Loyal’s AI-Powered Solutions to Improve Patient Experience and Provide Patient Self-Scheduling Capabilities

ATLANTA--()--Ochsner Health, the largest nonprofit, academic health system in Louisiana, has partnered with Loyal, the preferred software solution for improved care utilization among the nation's leading health systems and hospitals, to expand upon the level of convenience the organization offers to patients and to support patient self-scheduling as part of Ochsner’s digital front door strategy.

As a result of the partnership, Ochsner Health is deploying Loyal’s Guide, an artificial intelligence (AI) healthcare chatbot and live chat solution that handles appointment scheduling, billing questions and other types of triage functionality for hospitals. Guide also allows patients to type in a wide variety of questions they may have about their care on the health system website. Soon, Guide will be available inside the MyOchsner patient portal to help patients navigate their electronic medical record and answer questions related to their care.
